Our scientists are making strides each day in the study of the origin of life on Earth and extraterrestrially. Our studies have focused on the most likely places for life within our Solar System: Mars, Europa, and Titan. We believe that life can arrive via meteoroids, asteroids, and other vehicular bodies and we are searching all possible habitable zones around hundreds of other stars. Since our breakthrough with the discovery of extremophiles and the distinct possibility that hydrothermal vents may exist on other planetary bodies, we have been highly focused on microbial research, and we believe this is the key to discovering life on other planets.
